A Few Results of Not Being Active

Now that you know various of ways to be active, I'm here to tell you a few things that can  happen if you decide to not stay active. I know there are times when we don't feel like doing anything, and rather lay in bed all day or slump on the coach and spend all hours of the day watching TV. While some sort of relaxation is okay, an excessive amount can lead to health problems. We all want to continue to grow without health issues, and sometimes it comes upon us out of the blue, but making sure you stay active is half the battle in making sure you don't go through it; the other half is actually making the effort to do it. Having healthy bones is one benefit that you can get, and taking the time to apply stress to them can allow them to grow sufficiently. "Bone stress causes a signal to be sent to the body to build bone density. If you don't stress your bones by exercising, you can suffer from low bone density, which can turn into a case of osteoporosis" (H...

Now before you sa...

Not even that, but do you ever want to go to the gym to tone up, but you're just like me and don't feel like leaving your room? Well if you consider doing squats, you may have fulfill those few interests. The one thing about squats that people fail to realize is that it isn't just for toning your butt; "squat exercises are one of the best things you can do to tone your butt, hips, and thighs" ("Squat Exercises for Women," n.d.). I didn't know it toned your hips, so it was very interesting to find out that I'm improving multiple parts of my body and not just one. No worries; I didn't single guys out, so don't think this is just a one sided exercise. "It has long been acknowledged that squat exercises are probably some of the single most effective moves a man can perform to boost metabolism, build muscle mass and improve ...

Hello, I'm Whitney Hill and I chose this topic because I want to know the benefits I'm missing out on. I used to go to the gym 3 times a week in the beginning of fall semester, but now I don't go at all! I want to be able to see that even though I get lazy sometimes, staying physically active is always the right answer. I'm looking forward to talk about simple, but effective ways to stay fit and exercise that doesn't require you to run a mile or lift a crazy amount of weight; things that won't be overly extreme to do.
